Digital radio describes radio technologies
which carry information as a digital signal.

Digital radio effectively increases the capacity
of a transmission channel. It also can accommodate
data as well as audio transmission.
Internet Explorer
According to Microsoft, IE7 will make its
official debut as a Windows XP (SP2) application
well before the arrival of Vista. IE 7 will
be focused on security. IE 7 will include
tabbed browsing.
Quad Core Processors
By 2007, Advanced Micro Devices and Intel
will offer quad-core (4 cores on one processor)
solutions. The engineers also fitted the
quad-core chip design with HyperTransport
3.0, which offers more than double the bandwidth
of its predecessor, thus increasing the
size of the pipe used to move data into
and out of the chip. Advanced Micro Devices
says its new chip design will boost processor
performance without increasing power consumption.
Digital Audio formats
Digital audio comes in many different formats,
and multiple formats will be a fact of life
for the foreseeable future. Groups like
MPEG have created open standards, but even
formats based on the same MPEG standard
may not compatible with each other because
of proprietary components.
